First tested by us at the 2023 Hellas Rally the "Monoblock" tower performed exceptionally without the slightest problem or malfunction in one of the most challenging editions ever. Where many other aftermarket towers failed, we came out on top!
This is the reason that this tower has been hand selected by Ducati USA Rally team and Entrophy Racing Team to compete in the extremely demanding NORRA 1000 race as well as the Italian Motorally Championship.
Designed to optimize airflow and engine efficiency, our innovative 3D printed intake system directs cooler, denser air directly to the air filter. The system can be sealed in case of heavy pollution (rain or heavy sand). A foam insert can be also used in those African Deserts to ensure that the fresh air arrives as clean as possible to your air filter.
What sets us apart is our unique approach – we conduct fatigue analysis using real - world accelerometer data, ensuring durability in the most challenging desert conditions. This tower is designed using millions of acceleration data from all over the world. Races such as the Dakar, Africa Eco Race, MDC, Hellas Rally, Serres Rally and others as well as commuting, motocross etc. It's ultralight, strong and easy to replace in case of a structural damage. Unlike any other in the world, we conduct exhaustive fatigue analysis using real-world data from accelerometers, ensuring that our tower is not just aesthetically striking but also built to withstand the harshest desert terrains. In the full rally version the LP4 from Baja designs (1 or 2 unis depending on the setup) are the strongest lights that have been installed by a rally kit manufacturer in the world (17500 forward lumens!) . They are not street legal, but they will show your way home if you decide to take the beast in the desert! There are many options from maximum weight savings to fully legal setups.
The tower was tested by Stefanos Theoharis and our in Hellas Rally 2023 without any problems and we believe this was the turning point for Ducati North America and Entrophy Racing teams to hand select the tower for the NORRA 1000 and Motorally Championship respectively.
In our personal set up (with Baja Designs LP4) the weight of the stock bike remains unchanced after the installation of the "Monoblock" CNC Navigation tower. If you use any other of our light options the stock weight will actually be less (value depends on the lights used)
True as always to our rally background you have full easy acess to the cables that will help you intervene as soon as possible.
Monoblock Tower
The Ducati DesertX was fully digitized using a Peel 3d Laser Scanner. Peel 3d is a unique tool as it comes with a dedicated reverse engineering software, allowing us to design parts that fit like a glove to the bike!

The tower was designed from the ground up, using millions of data from out accelerometer library. The tower is strong, easy to install and take off while the monoblock design reduces the weight of the tower further, while it maintains its strength and durability.

The DesertX project, initiated in 2022, embodies the culmination of relentless dedication and innovation. We invested countless hours mastering CAD/CAM systems, harnessed the precision of 3axis CNC manufacturing, and conducted rigorous simulations. But we didn't stop there. We leveraged cutting-edge technology like the FARO CMM scanning arm and the 3D peel laser scanner for reverse engineering, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in twin-cylinder performance. To create this masterpiece, we united a formidable team of six industry-leading companies, each contributing their expertise to craft the ultimate twin-cylinder beast. The result? The custom-built Forced Direct air Intake for the Ducati DesertX is a technological marvel, featuring a meticulously designed 3D-printed intake. This innovative system efficiently channels air directly towards the air filter, ensuring a consistent supply of cool, oxygen-rich air that enhances the bike's overall performance and throttle response. What sets this intake apart is its adaptability, enabling riders to seal it off when traversing challenging terrains or participating in races amidst high-pollution environments. The above setup was adjusted with Denali D7 PRO to cater for the Ducati USA team's needs at the NORRA 1000.
Our Direct Air Intake offers over 10 lighting combinations, from OEM LEDs to maximum output (two LP4s) or minimal weight (one Hella LED with the Direct Air Intake). You can easily switch between configurations in minutes, whether for legal road use or full-throttle off-road adventures.
